Four countries, eight national parks and so much wildlife you can't even begin to count them. There are rare black and white rhinos, grunting hippos, elephants galore, laughing hyenas, stalking leopards, running cheetahs, grumpy buffalo and lots and lots of antelope species. And that's only the beginning. You get some real adventure on this safari in Southern Africa: pole a mokoro (dug-out canoe) in Botswana's Okavango Delta, visit villages of the Hambukushu and Xwe tribes in Namibia, go on safari by boat, on foot and by open 4x4 vehicle, and do just about any adrenaline-pumping activity you can think of in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. And did we mention the incredible rock formations of the Matobo Hills and the sunset and night game drives in Kruger? As far as safaris go, it doesn't get much better than this.

Adventure Coordinators insider tip:

Having rafted the Zambezi river four times, I can tell you the very best time is the low water season from August to the end of the year.  The rapids, many of which are grade 5 and have names like "Gnashing Jaws of Death" and "The Overland Truck Eater", are out of this world.  Hold on to your hat (and your pants)!
