At Adventure Coordinators we believe we must care for our planet and its future;
if not for us, we certainly owe it to our children.
Carbon mitigation is an integral part of the solution.
We will match your contributions

The Problem
Flying is a large contributor to global warming - a typical overseas flight increases the average Canadian's carbon footprint by 15%.
So-called "flight-shaming" has us give up flying. That's not a solution that works for me as I love adventure travel too much.
And planes using alternative fuels or electricity are still a long way off.
So what can we do?
one Solution
The solution is simple: plant trees which over their lifetime can absorb part or all of the carbon our flights produce.
We do this under the auspices of the not-for-profit the Bruce Trail Conservancy
Your donation to the Bruce Trail Conservancy will directly contribute to their ecological restoration projects within the Niagara Escarpment UNESCO World Biosphere.

One Percent
We believe that together we can make a difference: we challenge each and everyone of our travellers to invest as little as one percent of their tour cost in our tree planting projects.
This is our 1% for the future challenge.

Canadians who contribute will receive a tax receipt for a charitable donation.
matching your contributions
Adventure Coordinators will match your contributions up to a maximum of CA$1000 per year or until carbon neutrality has been reached, whichever comes first.
