self-guided trips
Our self-guided adventures give you the freedom to explore at your own pace without the hassle of having to find accommodation each night or the worry you might become lost.
On our self-guided hiking and cycling trips we prebook your accommodation and, when changing from one overnight location to another, will transfer your luggage for you. We will give you a set of detailed route notes and maps, allowing you to either follow the notes or to explore further afield using the maps. You have the freedom to stop where you like, perhaps linger over lunch or a glass of wine, explore a village and stop to take photos or visit a museum.
On our self-drive holidays we will book your accommodation and rental car and much like with our private adventures, we will work closely together with you and our network of destination management companies, to design the ideal route for you. Self-drives allow you to explore your destination at your own pace, stopping where you wish and cherry-pick your sightseeing stops along the way.
Loved my trip through the Dolomites! The hikes were all fantastic along well-chosen routes. I truly felt I did all the best hikes in the area. The route notes were very accurate and I rarely had to use the maps. Getting around on my own to and from the trail heads was very easy. The hotel was one of the best I have stayed in - service was great, food fantastic and I loved the wellness centre.
