Nepal's most famous trek must be Everest Basecamp and on this 15-day guided hike in the footsteps of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay you will discover why. Hiking amongst the giants of the Himalaya, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Island Peak and Makalu, you will follow age-old mountain trails to famous places like Namche Bazaar and the monastery at Thyangboche to arrive at Everest Base Camp. Here you will get glorious views of glaciers, lakes, caves, and the notorious Everest Ice Fall. The icing on the cake is the trek to Kala Patar, famous for sensational sunrise views of Everest itself.
