Nepal's Annapurna Sanctuary is a natural amphitheatre surrounded by such lofty peaks as Annapurna 1 and Machhapuchhare. The Annapurna Sanctuary trek takes you from lower forest-clad valleys into the heart of the Sanctuary for marvelous views of these mountains. We spend a day inside this stunning arena before hiking out to Pokhara via a different trail.
