Antarctica Fly-in Expedition Cruise
For those worried about rough weather when sailing to Antarctica, for those who want to add an Antarctic adventure to a South American trip, or for those who are simply short on time, this Antarctica fly-in expedition cruise is the perfect solution. From Punta Arenas in Chile's Patagonia you fly across the Drake Passage to King George Island, part of the in the South Shetland Archipelago, where you board your luxury cruise vessel.
You will spend the next four+ days exploring the Antarctic Peninsula and come to know the wonders of the White Continent. Encounter predators such as leopard seals and orcas as they patrol the shoreline near penguin rookeries housing thousands of Adélie, gentoo and chinstrap penguins. Whales and seabirds will be present too and you may cruise in a Zodiac or paddle in a kayak to come up close to nature's wonders.
There will be plenty of landings too so you can stretch your legs or go on a hike to an adandoned whaling station, a research outpost or to the foot of a calving glacier.
Guiding you through it all is a team of expert leaders who will complement your cruise with a lecture programme about glaciology, biology, geology, history and more.
This one-week adventure cruise in Antarctica will be a dream trip come true!
