Kyrgyzstan, often called the "Switzerland of Central Asia," is a hidden gem, offering stunning natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage. Our adventure begins in Bishkek, the country’s vibrant capital, where we explore wide avenues, Soviet-era landmarks, and Ala-Too Square. From there, we venture into the breathtaking Ala-Archa National Park, where we hike to the Ak-Sai waterfall, surrounded by towering peaks and forests.
Next, we explore the ancient Burana Tower before heading to Chon Kemin, a quiet valley perfect for a short hike with panoramic views. We then visit the striking Konorchek Canyons and the serene shores of Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan’s largest lake, before reaching Karakol. The journey continues through the picturesque Jergalan Valley, where we hike to Turnaluu-Kol Lake, and on to Djety Oguz, famous for its thermal baths and red sandstone formations.
We experience the traditional nomadic lifestyle at Son-Kul, a high-altitude lake surrounded by pastures, where we stay in yurts and enjoy scenic walks. Our return to Bishkek takes us through mountain passes, remote villages, and offers a final glimpse of Kyrgyzstan’s beauty. The trip ends with a farewell dinner and a folkloric performance, leaving us with memories of this extraordinary land.
