Over two memorable weeks, you and your family will journey through northern India, exploring its vibrant cities, rural villages, ancient forts, and wildlife-rich landscapes. Starting in Delhi, the contrast between Old and New sets the tone, with bustling bazaars, historic mosques, and grand colonial buildings. In Agra, you’ll marvel at the majestic Taj Mahal in the soft morning light and wander through the impressive Agra Fort. From there, travel to Ranthambore National Park, where you’ll embark on safari drives in search of Bengal tigers and other wildlife.

In Jaipur, the Pink City’s vibrant markets, opulent palaces, and a lively Bollywood dance class will immerse you in local culture. Then it’s on to Jodhpur, where a visit to a sustainable farm culminates in a homemade dinner, and the Mehrangarh Fort offers sweeping views of the city below. In Bikaner, you’ll learn about desert life at the National Camel Research Centre and try camel milk ice cream. Finally, Mandawa’s intricately painted havelis reveal a quieter, artistic side of Rajasthan. Returning to Delhi, there’s time to reflect on the journey—its history, cuisine, architecture, and diverse communities—before heading home with lasting memories and a deeper understanding of India’s rich cultural tapestry.

Adventure Coordinators Insider Tip:

Rajasthan is a desert region, so expect hot, humid days and noticeably cooler temperatures in the evenings.  And as you’ll be visiting several temples on this trip, modest clothing is important. Be sure to pack items that cover your arms and trousers or skirts that fall below the knee. A light scarf is also useful for covering shoulders and arms, especially in warmer weather.
