The Mont Blanc Circuit is one of the finest hikes in all of Europe and normally takes about two weeks to complete. For those short on time, this highlights trip has you walk the best sections of the Mont Blanc Circuit. Each night you return to your comfortable hotel or mountain chalet in Chamonix to enjoy great meals in the comfort of your homebase.
Hike up to L'Aiguillette des Posettes for stunning views all the way to Switzerland, summit Aiguillette des Houches for one of the finest views in the Alps, hike up to the Bonatti refuge for views of Mont Blanc, the towering peak of Grandes Jorasses, and the glaciers on the northern flank of Val Ferret and enjoy a circular walk to Lac Blanc for more excellent views of the whole massif.
This Mont Blanc highlights is one of the best one-week hiking holidays in the Alps and indeed all of Europe.

Before the middle of June and after the middle of September some cable cars in the area will not be running and there may be snow or impassable river crossings, especially in spring. The route will be amended accordingly.
Itinerary
DAY 1 Start Chamonix
DAY 2 Walk L'Aiguillette des Posettes, Col du Possettes, descend towards La Tour.
DAY 3 To Les Houches; ascend to Bel Lachat Refuge, cross Carlaveyron Reserve, summit Aiguillette des Houches and Aiguillette du Brevent.
DAY 4 Cross Col de Voza towards Les Houches.
DAY 5 Free day
DAY 6 Drive to Italy; climb to Bonatti refuge, spectacular traverse to Courmayeur.
DAY 7 Walk up to Grand Balcon Sud to Plan Praz, down by cable car.
DAY 8 End Chamonix
The trip was really good - lots of incredible experiences. Hiking through the Alps was awesome.
My only real criticism is that many of the hikes had to be adjusted because of unseasonable weather. While I fully appreciate that we can't control the weather, I think that the service provider should have flagged the conditions a day or two before.
The guide did a great job of adapting to the conditions and ensuring that we had the best experience possible.
