This unforgettable journey combines two of the world’s most captivating destinations: the ancient city of Machu Picchu in Peru and the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. Starting in Peru, we begin our exploration in Cuzco, once the heart of the Inca Empire, where we visit impressive ruins like Sacsayhuaman and the Qoricancha. After soaking in the history, we travel to the Sacred Valley, where we enjoy a traditional Andean lunch and visit ancient agricultural terraces. The highlight of the Peruvian leg is a visit to Machu Picchu, reached by train through stunning mountain landscapes. Optional hikes offer a deeper connection to this mystical site.
Next, we head to Ecuador, starting in Quito, a city nestled in the Andean highlands. We then fly to the Galapagos, where we explore the islands by land and sea. From spotting giant tortoises and sea lions to snorkelling in crystal-clear waters, each day brings new encounters with unique wildlife. Highlights include visits to Floreana and Isabela Islands, where we explore volcanic landscapes, snorkel with marine life, and learn about conservation efforts. This trip provides a perfect balance of adventure, history, and nature, making it a truly remarkable experience.
