This unforgettable Patagonian adventure begins in El Calafate, where a guided visit to the immense Perito Moreno Glacier sets the stage. Travelling onward to El Chaltén, we spend several days hiking in Los Glaciares National Park, exploring trails that lead to the striking Laguna de los Tres and Cerro Torre, with overnight stays in mountain camps and domes that immerse us in the rugged beauty of the region. From sweeping views of Fitz Roy to the peaceful lakes and lenga forests, these hikes offer a true sense of place. After returning to El Calafate, we travel overland into Chile, reaching Puerto Natales before cruising through the Última Esperanza Fjord past Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers—a spectacular entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. Here, we begin the renowned “W” Trek, a multi-day journey through valleys and forests, along alpine lakes, and beneath the towering granite spires of the Paine Massif. Daily hikes bring us to the Grey Glacier, the French and Bader valleys, and finally to the iconic Towers of Paine. Each day offers dramatic scenery, fresh air, and a sense of accomplishment. After completing the trek, we return to Puerto Natales and then El Calafate, tired but deeply enriched by Patagonia’s wild spirit.
