This is an off-grid hike in a remote country in Central Asia where weather extremes will occur, even in summer

Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrive in Bishkek, explore city and Soviet-era sites
DAY 2: Gentle 7 km hike in Ala Archa (+1300 m, 4–5 hrs)
DAY 3: Fly to Osh, visit bazaar and Suleiman Mountain
DAY 4: Acclimatisation hike 8 km (+1300 m, 2–3 hrs), overnight in village
DAY 5: Trek 11 km to Dzhyptyk camp (+780 m, 5–6 hrs)
DAY 6: Hike 10 km over Dzhyptyk Pass (+1135 m / -935 m, 6–8 hrs)
DAY 7: No hiking, 4WD drive to Base Camp (3600 m)
DAY 8: Optional 8 km hike to Petrovsky Peak (+600 m / -600 m, 4–5 hrs)
DAY 9: Trek 14 km over Puteshestvennikov Pass (+800 m, 4–5 hrs)
DAY 10: Climb Yukhin Peak, hike 8 km (+730 m / -730 m, 5–7 hrs)
DAY 11: Return hike 14 km to Base Camp (+100 m / -800 m, 4–5 hrs)
DAY 12: No hiking, drive 300 km back to Osh (950 m)
DAY 13: Fly to Bishkek (700 m), rest of day free
DAY 14: Trip ends after breakfast, transfer to airport
