Travel to the edge of Europe and Scotland's most northerly islands, the Shetland Islands on this short week adventure holiday. Enjoy stunning coastal scenery and wildlife spotting.
Setting off by overnight ferry from Aberdeen, reach Lerwick in the morning for a guided walk and free time. Visit the Shetland Museum with its engaging interactive exhibits before joining in for a hike through stunning coastal scenery to Sumburgh Head lighthouse, learning about the area's history along the way.
We visit Muckle Flugga, the United Kingdom's most northerly point, and hope to spot puffins along the way.
Our last day sees us on an an easy coastal hike at Eshaness admiring towering waves, spectacular sea cliffs, and learning more about the interesting history of the isles.
Your trip to the top of Scotland ends with another overnight ferry to Aberdeen.
