The Spanish Camino is best hiked in spring and fall.  Try to avoid religious holidays such as Easter as it is a busy time.  Summers are scorching hot and not recommended.  For a secluded experience, consider hiking in winter.

You can choose to hike the full Spanish Camino in one trip or do it over several vacations. ** in the itinerary indicates a possible break point where you can stop one year and start again the next.
