Flying is a large contributor to carbon emissions - a typical overseas flight increases the average Canadian's carbon footprint by 15%.
But we are not about to stop flying - we love travelling too much. And planes using alternative fuels are still a long way off.
The Solution
The solution is simple. We can invest money in energy saving projects which are known to counterbalance the amount of carbon our flights emit.
This is called offsetting.

At Adventure Coordinators we offset all of our flights. We work with not-for-profit Planetair, recognized by the Pembina Institute and David Suzuki Foundation as one of the best suppliers of carbon offsets in Canada.
With Planetair, your offsets provide funding for new projects that, because of financial or technical barriers, would not and could not go forward without offset funding.
