Iceland, the country best known for its gorgeous scenery and tactile experiences with nature, launched a new social media campaign: Icelandverse.
In a clear stab at virtual reality experiences touted by Mark Zuckerberg's Metaverse, the host of Icelandverse appears to be looking very much like the man behind Facebook, Instagram and Whattsapp.
Adding to the satire are comments like "this is real moss, but you can't touch it" and "volcanic rocks you can caress".
